Automatic Cabinet Lights

Lights will turn on when detecting human presence when opening the cabinet's door. Lights stays on and will turn off after doors are closed or , if left opened, about 30 seconds after person moves away.

Typical Installation

Installation is simple as shown in above figure, the proximity sensor can be ordered to be installed on either side for individual aluminum fixtures.

Below are the required parts for a typical installation:

Manual or Automatic switch

LED mounted on 6060 Aluminum profile for improved heat sink.

Power Supply

Standard power supply 12V 6A is OK for up to 4 meters of strip light with 60 LEDs/m. Longer installations requires a higher wattage power supply based on total current consumption.

Power supply cost for a 12V 75W unit is 25 U$D . It is good to power up to six 20 in length assemblies or a total added length of 130 inches (3.3 meters).
